Mac Os: Cockos Reaper 5 (VST), Ableton Live Lite 9 (VST), Apple GarageBand (AU), Plogue Bidule (VST). The plugin may well work in other hosts, but I am not able to test and debug with all of them. There may be problems when doing offline rendering/export in Cubase. Jun 23, 2015 However, I could not do that in Mac. If I am not mistaken from the posts I read, AU is what Mac mainly uses. Even if I want a vst plugin instrument sound, I should install AU but not VST. OK, so I did drag the AU.component from another program into Garageband's instrument library/Sampler Files, Audio/Sounds, and Instrument Library/Sampler.
